Our Story

Bluebell Hydro & Physio is a Private Hydrotherapy and Physiotherapy Company located within The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital, Birmingham, offering a wide range of personalised treatment packages operated by Chartered Physiotherapists registered with HCPC and CSP.

Our current leadership team has evolved and developed throughout the 28 year history of Bluebell. Our current Practice Manager Jeni Considine is the longest serving staff member working with us for over 18 years! Due to personal circumstances, the founder of Bluebell was about to close the practice down in 2016. It was during this period, that the Supervisor Physiotherapist Alberto Garcia (at the time) was persuaded by two best friends (Jeni and Chrissie) to take ownership of the company and continue the vision of delivering hydrotherapy services to help with the treatment and wellbeing of adults and children with physical and mental health needs. Our Senior Administrator- Chrissie Farrow is also a long standing team member having been with the company for over 14 years now! We are a Family clinic that loves to support professional growth and career development and would you believe our current Clinical Director, Wasim Shah, started with Bluebell as a Junior Physiotherapist himself in 2017! It has been his hard work ethic and leadership skills that has helped our clinic evolve and develop to keep up with the changing needs of the community and resulted in him progressing into a leadership role.

The Covid-19 Pandemic

Covid-19 hit the company extremely hard and we are still continuing to work hard to rebuild the business back to its former strength- with great enthusiasm, passion and commitment from all our team members.

We all have great passion in the work we do and thrive on working through challenges together to ensure our customers are at the forefront of everything we do.

We work with all members of the public as well as numerous professional organisations, universities, charities and local sports clubs. We work well as a team together, sharing knowledge, being supportive and adapting to the changing demands of the business. We strive to maintain exceptional professional standards and endeavour to deliver high quality customer service at all times, with the aim of meeting the needs of every client.

Our client rehabilitation is based on strength and conditioning, pain management and movement control via our hydrotherapy pool and land based treatment sessions. Our clients are provided with a tailored programme by our Chartered Physiotherapists which they will be supported to meet.

Throughout Bluebell’s history we have helped approximately over 8000 clients manage their health needs and achieve their goals. Our team has helped in the management of many different conditions in:
