Bluebell Hydro and Physio have a vacancy for a Senior Neurological Physiotherapist to work in our practice located at ROH. Bank/part time work is available, you will be dealing with our valued land physiotherapy and hydrotherapy clients in a friendly, compassionate environment. Bluebell’s Hydrotherapy and Land Physiotherapy clinic is held three times per week:
Monday and Thursday evening from 17.00 hrs to 20.30 hrs
Saturday morning from 08.30 hrs to 13.30 hrs
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
To prioritise, assess and manage own patient caseload specialised skills, experience and ability to work without direct supervision
To promote effective and evidence based treatments, identifying and utilising evidence based outcome measures appropriate for the clients at Bluebell Hydro and Physio;
To assist and supervise less experienced staff in the day to day management of their caseload
To lead Hydrotherapy sessions following appropriate training
To ensure that all records are maintained and stored confidentially, and in line with GDPR requirements
To follow Bluebell Hydro and Physio policies and procedures
Effectively communicate complex information to clients and family members regarding physiotherapy and hydrotherapy interventions
Maintaining your own continuous development professional practice, participate in performance and development reviews
To contribute to and participate in identified audit, and service development projects
Key Performance Requirements:
To work flexibly within the team to support and supervise more junior Physiotherapists, Physiotherapy assistants, colleagues and students
To maintain own CPD, in order to meet HPC registration requirements
To maintain and develop level of expertise within the speciality
To be able to provide professional verbal and written reports that meet professional, legal and organisational requirements
To behave in a confidential, competent and professional manner at all times, to uphold the reputation of Bluebell Hydro and Physio
To seek advice and recognise personal limitations, and to make positive use of supervision
To attend all mandatory training
